Day 01: SRINAGAR – SONAMARG – KARGIL
Meet our representative at Srinagar Airport He will assist you and transfer you to the Kargil via Sonamarg the name Sonamarg is derived from two Kashmiri words “Son” & “Marg” which mean “Gold” & “Meadow”, when put together it means “Meadow of Gold” The drive from Srinagar to Sonamarg is very beautiful as you will pass through some towns and villages, at many places you can enjoy the view of paddy fields with rivers flowing on one side, after spending some time at Sonamarg continue drive towards to Kargil by crossing the Zoji-La Pass ‘Gateway Of Ladakh’ (11,500-ft. / 3,505 m) through Drass Village the second coldest inhabited place in the world later reach Kargil check in to Hotel and Relax, overnight stay in Hotel at Kargil / Mulbek.
Day 02: KARGIL – LAMAYURU – LEH
After early breakfast leave for Leh, it takes an 8hrs drive to reach Leh. Enroute visit 11th-century rock curved statue at Mulbek, Lamayuru monasteries, En route enjoy the view of Sangam (confluence of Indus and Zanskar River), visit Hall Of Fame (The Hall of Fame is a glorious museum constructed by the Indian Army. It is worth a visit for every citizen. You can see the memorabilia, eminent defence personalities with biographies, images and weapons used during the Kargil and other key strategic battles fought in Ladakh) Magnetic Hill (Defying the Law of gravity. This place is close to the Gurdwara Shri Patthar Sahib. It has been noticed that when a vehicle is parked on neutral gear on this metallic road the vehicle slides up-hill that’s the Believe it or not of Ladakh) PatharSahab (The Shrine is known as GurdwaraPatthar sahib is situated about 25 km. Short of Leh town on the Leh-Srinagar road. Day 03: FULL DAY TOUR TO INDUS VALLEY
After breakfast at Hotel, you will proceed to Thiksey village, visit Thiksey monastery and drive to Shey Village to visit Shey Palace and Gompa. Continue to drive to Hemis monastery to visit one of the most famous monasteries of Ladakh. Later on, the way back to Leh get down at the Sindhu Ghat for Sindhu Darshan and walk along the river, also visit 3 Idiots School campus. After spending some time at the river come back to the Hotel afternoon visit Leh Palace is a former royal palace overlooking the Ladakhi Himalayan town of Leh. Modelled on the Potala Palace in Lhasa, Tibet, the palace was built by King Sengge Namgyal in the 17th century. It is nine storey’s high; the upper floors accommodated the royal family, while the lower floors held stables and storerooms. Then visit Shanti Stupa is a Buddhist white-domed stupa (chorten) on a hilltop in Chanspa, Leh district It was built in 1991 by Japanese Buddhist Bhikshu Gyomyo Nakamura. The Shanti Stupa holds the relics of the Buddha at its base, enshrined by the 14th Dalai Lama himself, in the evening explore Leh Local Market for shopping, overnight stay in Hotel at Leh.
Day 04: LEH –KHARDUNGLA PASS (5602 M)- NUBRA VALLEY(3165m)
After breakfast at Hotel, you will proceed to Nubra Valley by Crossing Khardung-la Pass (The highest motorable road in the world 5602 m). On the way, you have amazing panoramic view of Indus valley, Shayok River, Himalayan Mountains and Karakoram Mountains range. Explore Hunder where you have the opportunity to ride on a bacterian camel double humped (On Direct Payment Basis) amidst the sand dunes of this high altitude desert with snow-capped mountains on the horizon. Between Hunder and Diskit you come across sand dunes beside the road. Seen in isolation you could well be amongst the sand dunes of the Thar Desert in Rajasthan. It is indeed a strange sight since immediately on the left of the road are rocky mountains that characterize the Ladakhi landscape and in the distance can be seen snow-capped mountains. The most attractive features of Nubra valley is the sand dune. Evening free for leisure Overnight stays in Fixed Camp at Nubra Valley.
Day 05: NUBRA VALLEY – SHYOK RIVER – PANGONG LAKE
After an early breakfast, we check out from the Camp and drive to Pangong Lake via Shyok River On the way you have an amazing view of charming villages, beautiful mountains, animals like Yaks, nomads and beautiful valley of Changthang. Arrive at Lake, the Lake is 136 km long and 5 km wide, 47% of this lake is in India and rest is in Tibet. The view of the lake is spectacular and breathtaking. Enjoy the unforgettable scenery beauty of Lake and the voice of Himalayan migrant birds. Evening free for leisure, overnight stay in Camp.
Day 06: PANGONG LAKE – CHANGLA PASS – LEH
Early Morning enjoys the picturesque view of the sunrise on Lake, after breakfast drive back to Leh by Crossing Chang-la pass (The world’s third highest motorable road 5360 m) rest of the day free, overnight stay in Hotel at Leh.
Day 07: LEH – SARCHU
After an early breakfast, we check out from the hotel and drive to Sarchu via through Tanglang La Pass 17,585ft world second highest motorable road. At Pang, you can stop for lunch and continue driving to Lachungla pass, which is at a height of 5065 mts. Upon arrival in Sarchu, we check in at our Camp for overnight. It will also be the coldest night during the whole tour.
Day 08: SARCHU – MANALI
After breakfast check out from Camp and proceed to Manali via Baralacha Pass (4890m) Keylong (3350 m) & Rohtang Pass (3978 m). Manali, Located in the most charming and beautiful Kullu valley spreads out its charm on either side of river Beas. Kullu was once known as Kulanthpitha, which means the end of the habitable world. Beyond rose, the forbidding heights of the Greater Himalayas, and by the banks of the shining river Beas, lay the fabled ‘Silver Valley’. The valley runs north to south of Beas River and is 80 km. Long and about 2 km wide. Upon arrival, we check in at our hotel. Evening at leisure to explore the area on your own and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 09: MANALI – CHANDIGARH DROP
After breakfast at Hotel, you will proceed to Chandigarh Airport to catch your Flight for your onward destination with sweet holidays.
