Aru Valley a small yet self-sufficient scenic village surrounded by lush green meadows, snow clad mountains and covered with dense vegetation. Chandanwari is another tourist attraction around Pahalgam and is the starting point of Amarnath Yatra that takes place every year in July. Chandanwari is covered in snow from November till May, and you can watch the lovely sight of glaciers melting in the Lidder River. A local Taxi has to be hired for these beautiful places. After breakfast leave for Sonamarg the name Sonamarg is derived from two Kashmiri words “Son” & “Marg” which mean “Gold” & “Meadow”, when put together it means “Meadow of Gold” The drive from Srinagar to Sonamarg is very beautiful as you will pass through some towns and villages, at many places you can enjoy the view of paddy fields with rivers flowing on one side.in Sonamarg you can visit Thajwas Glacier which is around 4Kms from Sonamarg a Local Taxi Or Pony Ride has to be hired (on your own Expenses) in the evening return back to Srinagar overnight stay in Hotel at Srinagar

Today is the last day of your tour. After breakfast, enjoy Shikara Ride (if not done on 5th day) in the famous Dal Lake. Head back to the airport to catch your mid day flight and end the tour on a high taking back sweet memories of Kashmir.
